The Arts

Cincinnati has a long tradition of offering and supporting world-class cultural activities. The Cincinnati Fine Arts Fund is the oldest in the nation and ranks among the top three in the country for total dollars raised.  The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra is the fifth oldest in the nation and the Cincinnati Opera is the second oldest company in the US. Both are internationally acclaimed. The Aronoff Center for the Arts is one of our city's newest performance venues. Opened in 1995 and located in the heart of downtown, the center houses three beautiful performance areas. It is home for the Cincinnati Ballet and the Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Cincinnati shows. Cincinati is also home to many wonderful musuems including the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. All these plus the many festivals and activities that take place throughout the year make Cincinnati a great place for people who love the arts!

Sports

Cincinnati has something to offer every type of sports fan and residents are passionate about their sports!  From catching a Red's baseball game on a sunny summer day to the thrill of horseracing at River Downs, Cincinnati has a wide array of sports available to entertain its residents.  From Bengals football games to NASCAR races, Cincinnati is sure to provide you with a wealth of sports excitement.  Cincinnati collage sports provide exciting sports action throughout the year and every year Cincinnati is home to the Tennis Master Series tournament.

Attractions

Cincinnati is proud to be the home of nation's second oldest zoo.  Five hundred animals and three thousand plant species call The Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens home.  Over 1.2 million people visit our zoo annually helping to make it one of the top five most visited zoos in the country.  Across the river in Newport, Kentucky you will find the Newport Aquarium.  Here you can see more than eleven thousand creatures, the largest air shark viewing area, and the largest king penguin collection in the nation.  You will also want to check out Paramount Kings Island, one of the top ten amusement parks in the country.
